Pedro Mateus Carvalho Oliveira is the most advanced offensive point guard evaluated at William Academy. His 9.0 ball control is the single highest score of any attribute across every player in this programme. To be clear about what that number means in a Grade 10 player: it is a present-tense statement about what he already is. The finishing score of 8.5 adds the second dimension — he creates advantages and converts. The 7.5 pace and offensive feel completes it: the instincts of a floor general, the temperament that is almost impossible to coach into a player.

Recruiting conversations open in earnest at Grade 12 (2028-29). Visits and offers follow in Grade 13 (2029-30). Grade 10 means the programme has three full seasons to develop the defensive profile before the window opens.
THE CEILING
A 6'0" PG who posts a 9.0 ball control with floor general temperament is a mid-major D1 conversation at minimum by Grade 12-13. At full defensive development the ceiling extends further. Brazil has a strong basketball culture and NBA pipeline.

GRADE 11 (2027-28)
First film submission to target programmes (Ottawa, Carleton, TMU, Brock). Summer circuit debut. Help defence must show visible progress. U Sports coaches begin live evaluation. National team consideration.
GRADE 12 (2028-29)
Active recruitment window opens. Visits to OUA and AUS programmes. Help defence at 6.5+ is the threshold that moves conversations from interest to offers. NCAA outreach begins via summer circuit. Most consequential year.
GRADE 13 (2029-30)
Commitment year. By Grade 13 the full profile — 9.0 handle, 8.5 finishing, defensive development complete, floor general temperament — is the most complete PG package in this programme. Commit before September.
What the 9.0 Ball Control Means for This List
Every school on this list was selected partly because their system rewards a PG who cannot be rushed. The 9.0 ball control means Pedro will arrive at university with the single most important physical tool a point guard can have. Coaches who run fast systems (Ottawa, Western, Saint Mary's, TMU) will see it immediately on film. Coaches who run structured, accountable systems (Carleton, McMaster, Brock, UNB) will ask what else he can do — and the 8.5 finishing and 7.5 offensive feel answer that question. The help defence at 5.0 is the number that generates the follow-up question. By Grade 12 it needs to be a 6.5. By Grade 13 it needs to be a 7.0. That is the work between now and the commitment.
Three seasons. The most advanced offensive PG profile in this programme. The longest meaningful runway. The only player in this group who could realistically commit to any programme on this list — OUA, AUS, or D1 — and arrive ready to contribute from day one.
