BIT6 — The Intelligence Layer
Ball in the 6 · Toronto · 4 min read
BIT6 is the intelligence layer under every play. It reads the game across 18 personas and 30 sports and produces a composite score that means the same thing across every level of competition.
Why one engine
Most platforms specialize. One platform per sport. One scoring system per league. We took the opposite path. The same scoring engine runs under every sport. Sport-specific weighting handles the differences. The bones are identical.
That choice has a consequence. A 14-year-old wing in basketball and a 22-year-old centre-back in soccer get composite scores on the same 0 to 120 scale. Coaches can read across sports. Scouts can compare across age brackets. Athletes can see where they stand without a translation layer.
What it measures
Nineteen dimensions across Physical, Tactical IQ, Defense, and Mentality. Each dimension is weighted by sport. Adversity Response Quotient is weighted 1.5x in every sport. It is the single best predictor of ceiling we have found across two decades of evaluation work.
What it does not do
BIT6 is a research artifact. It is not a chatbot. It cannot be jailbroken to flatter a parent. The IP that drives the weights stays off external APIs.
Outputs are deterministic. The same inputs produce the same score. A scout in Toronto and a scout in Lagos see the same composite for the same game.
